Since establishing CHOICE CHILD CARE in 1995 which specialized in the recruitment of child care professionals for private homes, pre-schools and day care centre’s and after care teachers, designed and ran holiday programmes for corporates and consulting.

From 2010 a new range of services have been evolving and are now available:

Consulting to corporates

  • Conducting surveys and identifying the child care needs of, and work-life balance issues confronting, employees.
  • From the findings of the surveys, making practical recommendations for corporate decision makers to improve the work-life balance of their employees; and
  • Assisting corporates to turn these recommendations into workable solutions.
  • Various studies including evaluating child care facilities
  • Providing in-house child care services to corporates
  • Writing on work-life balance issues, child care options, preparing to return to work and other related subject matter for corporate in-house publications.

  • Evaluation of residential child and youth care centres (CYCC), day care projects and any other child care services related project - in conjunction with the new Child Care Act.
  • Create a framework for projects to align themselves  in conjunction with the corporates objectives.
  • Ongoing evaluation of the project, offering support and skills training where necessary.

Parenting workshops in the workplace -

Because of time constraints working parents are often unable to source support and information to help them strategize effective parenting skills. Choice Child Care has developed a series of parenting workshops on topics with which mothers and fathers frequently struggle.

Lunch and Learn Parenting workshops are offered as short one-hour practical parenting session for groups in the workplace. The interactive nature of these sessions allows the working parent to gain new practical parenting knowledge and skills in the course of a lunch break.

Life and Parent Coaching

Includes all aspects of life for the individual and parenting concerns:

  •      Parenting from babies to teens
  •      Family life
  •      Work-life balance

Individual coaching helps parents to identify the change they want and supports them through the process to find real solutions.

This is a relevant process for any individual from childhood to adulthood.
