Alison Gitelson


Alison Gitelson, founder of CanBeeDone, is a Management Growth Enabler who developed the company out of her continuous study and interest in people and her passion for seeing them grow into their potential, particularly in leadership. Her years in business nurtured a similar passion for the success of businesses.

Alison began her varied working life as an optometrist following this with careers in IT, consulting and transformation. She has a successful track record of management in key positions. As a strategic business unit manager at Capital Software she increased the unit’s revenue threefold and at SARS she and her team successfully delivered on multiple key components of the nationwide Siyakha transformation project.

At CanBeeDone Alison combines her nearly 30 years of practical business knowledge and insight, with an intuitive understanding of people. Clients and delegates enjoy her practical, interactive style and in depth understanding of the complexities of today’s business environment.

 She has presented widely on the key components of the Leader – Management Framework.

Alison is a member of Business Engage (incorporating Women in Finance) and a volunteer counsellor for Headway, an organisation that supports people with brain injuries.

When not occupied with her business Alison, who is married with two children, can be found sailing on the Vaal Dam, dancing or relaxing in the Bush.
